Incubus Among Us Box Set (Shifter Romance) Page 17

He shook his head. "No, actually, I haven't had a date in a really long time."

I faked shock. "Really? Well, perhaps I can give you some pointers about the important parts of a relationship."

  "Like what?" he wondered.

  "Oh, you'll see."

  Chapter 3

Our coworkers busied themselves with lunch preparation as I led Johnny into the supply closet. The room took up a twenty-by-ten foot space. Shelves lined all the walls except the back, and also divided the room into three short halls. I released him to securely shut the door behind us, and in the process I locked the knob. We wouldn't be interrupted.

"So what was it you wanted help with in here?" Johnny asked me.

I resumed my position by his side and smiled at him. "It's in the back," I told him. I guided him to the rear were there was a table for cutting paper. There was a mess of trimmings over the top and on the floor.

"You wanted some help cutting papers?" he guessed.

Now was the time to strike. I maneuvered him so his lower back leaned against the table. I pressed my swollen breasts against his chest and my voice dropped to a low, sultry whisper. "I have this aching need inside me, and I want you to take care of it for me."

His cute cheeks blushed and he tried to slip away from me, but I placed my arms on either side of him, trapping him against the table. "I-I don't know if I can-"

"Of course you can." I grabbed his hands and set them on my rear. "Just start rubbing. Nature will show you the rest of the way."

"W-we really shouldn't be doing this. It's against the rules," he reminded me.

I chuckled. "Only if they catch us, and they won't," I cooed.

Johnny didn't fight me when I left a trail of hot kisses down his neck. His hands massaged my rear and slid forward to catch my hips. He groaned softly, and I moaned in response as my swollen, pert breasts strained against my shirt. A middle button popped off and revealed my mounds of flesh pressed hard against my tight bra.

Johnny looked down at my open shirt and licked his lips. I grinned and leaned back so he could have a better view. "Like what you see?" I teased.

He dumbly nodded, and I had an attentive audience as I unbuttoned the other buttons. My shirt dropped to the ground followed quickly by my bra. He stared at me with such lust that the ache inside me ignited into desire. Gone was any inhibitions on either of our parts. We locked lips in a passionate kiss as we raced to un-cloth each other. I unbuttoned his pants, and he did likewise to me. They dropped to the ground together, leaving me only in my flimsy underwear. I worked on his shirt buttons while his hands explored my nakedness.

"Yes. Feel me. That's it," I coaxed him like a teacher tutoring their student.

He unexpectedly froze. I pulled away and saw his face was strained, and he had a puzzled look in his eyes. "What is it? What's-"

I didn't have time to finish my question before I noticed the change come over him. His muscles stretched and grew, and so did his height. He leaned his head back and his face morphed into one very familiar to me. David.

I stepped back and glared at the person who'd once been Johnny, but was now David. I felt like I'd been cheated out of my prey. "What the hell are you doing here?" I questioned him.

He turned his heated eyes on me and chuckled. "Admiring your progress, but I thought perhaps things had gone far enough to step in and have a little fun myself."

I covered my breasts with my arms, but his lustful gaze reignited the heated desire inside me. "I don't need your help," I snapped back.

He stepped toward me and wrapped his arms around me. His red eyes caught mine and I felt myself falling into his grasp. "I haven't come to help. Uou don't need any of that," he softly whispered.

"T-then why are you here?" I stuttered. I was now the prey and he the predator.

He leaned down and brushed his warm lips against my ear. "I've come to remind you that you are mine and mine alone. I will let no other know you." His possessive words thrilled my feminine core. My anger vanished and was replaced by my need for fulfillment.

David tore away my underwear and ripped off Johnny's shirt. Our positions flipped and I stood with my back against the table. He touched and pleasured me with his hands and lips. I groaned and gasped, and leaned into his touches. He played me like he was an expert violinist, and I his instrument. My moans and his grunts were our song. His hands were everywhere, touching my most intimate spots. Ripples of pleasure ran through me, heating my body to a painful temperature. I was stretched thin. The tension inside me built to a feverish pitch.

"Inside me," I pleaded. He obeyed and lifted me on top of the table. It was the perfect height for him and he thrust deeply into my hot, ready core.

"So hot," he growled as he penetrated me again and again.

I petted his hair and whispered into his ear sweet encouragements. "Yes, more. Oh, my master, please more."

He grunted and pushed longer and deeper into me. Each stroke sent shivers up and down my body. I was at the height of ecstasy, of a heaven I wished would never end. I clung to him and tilted back my head as he thrust faster. My legs wrapped around his waist, allowing him deeper penetration. I gasped for breath.

My body convulsed with the pleasures of his wild thrusting. "Yes! Yes!" I cried out.

Every muscle in my body quivered in delight as my orgasm spread over me. I clung onto him as he continued his wild frenzy inside me, bringing me to a higher level of pleasure. After a few moments his body gave in to the ecstasy, and he leaned against me and the table. His breaths came out in sharp gasps and he lay his head above my still-swollen breasts.

"My god," he murmured. He lifted his head and I saw his eyes still held lust for me. "What you do to me is something I cannot believe."

I smiled and brushed a few strands of his hair from his sweat-soaked forehead. "You are trying to make me into an unbelievable creature," I reminded him.

He grasped my stroking hand and pressed a kiss into the open palm. "The lust in your eyes and your words give me hope, my love. Do you know what you say?"

At his own words I cringed and turned my face away. "I-I don't know. I don't know what I'm saying."

He caught my chin between his fingers and pulled me back so my eyes looked into his. "Say yes, and this nightmare will be over."

It felt so right to be in his arms, so natural. His eyes tempted me with a life full of pleasure and companionship. But then, it would be an unnatural one. "I. . .I don't-"

The knob of the door rattled, followed by someone's fist pounding on the surface. "Hey? What's going on in there? Open up!" one of my coworkers shouted.

David ground his teeth together and growled at the door and the interruption. He returned his attention to me and sighed. "Later, my love, and think kindly of me." He stepped away and snapped his fingers.

In the time it took his fingers to collide my clothes were back on my body, albeit the shirt was as tight as ever, and in David's place stood a confuddled Johnny. He clutched his head and swayed from side-to-side. I hurried up to him and caught him before he fell.

Johnny turned his head left and right, and blinked at me. "What happened? Did we get what you needed?"

I sighed and shook my head. "No, but that's all right. Maybe I'll get it later."

Gone was the insatiable lust inside me and all the stirring, rousing emotions with it. In its place was an exhaustion that could only be satisfied with a really large lunch. I led him over to the door and unlocked it. One of our coworkers, a boisterous man in the habit of working through lunch, barged in and glared at us. "What the hell were you two doing in there with the door locked?" he growled.

I let Johnny stand on his own and shrugged. "I guess it must have locked itself when we came in. Johnny was just helping me reach something on a top shelf, but it wasn't there."

His eyes flickered first to me and then to Johnny's strained and befuddled face. "Looks like you had a hell of a time finding it," he quipped.

  "You know how toug
h office supplies can be," I returned as I led Johnny away.

"How long were we in there looking?" Johnny asked me.

"I'm not really sure, probably longer than you think," I told him. We arrived at my cubicle and I was glad to see Ann's retreating back. My perfect excuse from this situation. "Hey, Ann! Want to get some lunch?" I shouted at her.

She turned and smiled at me. "Just what I was thinking." Her eyes fell on Johnny and she furrowed her brow. "Johnny, you don't look so good. Maybe you should lie down."

"Yeah, I think that'd be a good idea," he agreed. He stumbled off to find himself a nice spot to collapse. I had no idea what David's taking of one's body did, but it packed a hell of an after-punch for the human.

Ann grabbed my hand and tugged me toward the elevator. "Come on, I want to tell you all about that blind-date guy over some nice burritos."

  Chapter 4

Ann dragged me to a small Mexican joint on one of the corners a few blocks down. I munched on a basket of tortilla chips and salsa and kept one eye on the guys around me while she began her description of him. "I don't know if Tiffany told you anything about him-"

  "Not a thing," I quipped.

"Well, he's tall, dark, and handsome, and from what he's told Frank and me about himself I think he's really rich," she told me.

"So why's he looking for a working-class girl?" I questioned her.

"He said he didn't care for anybody who wasn't real. You know, too much makeup, fake-um, assets, and only out for his money," she explained.

"So what's he like? I mean, what's his interests and stuff?" I persisted.

She smiled and shook her head. "That's for me to know, and you to find out."

I leaned toward her and narrowed my eyes. "Do you really know anything about him other than he's rich and cute?"

"Well, he's very polite, and Frank thinks he's bit around the world. He knows a lot about places Frank's visited, and Frank works for a travel agency," she replied.

"Ann, did you seriously set me up with a guy even you don't know?" I accused her.

She sheepishly grinned and shrugged. "Maybe?"

I leaned back in my seat and rolled my eyes. "Ann, you and Tiffany make me wonder if I need any enemies to plot the destruction of my life."

"Well, you're never bored," she pointed out.

I snorted and set my elbows on the table so I could rest my head in my hands. "Bored, no, busy to distraction, yes."

"Problems with that guy still?" she guessed.

I lifted my eyes to her and frowned. "How much did you and Tiffany share?"

"Um, enough to know we want to help you out of your trouble?" she replied.

I sighed and shook my head. "I don't think a date with a guy is going to fix my guy problems."

"Well, you don't know until you try, and you will try, won't you?" Ann pleaded.

I shrugged. "Why not? What do I have to lose?"

She squealed and clapped her hands. "Great! Tiffany's going to drive you to the place at five-thirty, and the guy's supposed to drive you home."

I whipped my head to her and my mouth dropped open. "You're leaving me in the clutches of a stranger? How far is this restaurant from my home?"

"Um, far enough away that you probably shouldn't walk," she told me.

"Ugh," I groaned as I ran a hand through my hair. "You two are impossible, you know that?"

Ann grinned and nodded. "Yep." She glanced at the time and sighed. "Speaking of impossible, we might not make it back to the office in time if we don't leave now," she told me.

We returned to the drudgeries of work. The last half of my work day was ruined by my nervousness at the coming date. My lack of concentration meant I received the eye-attention of the men, but thankfully my succubus self was still exhausted and none of the other men were quite as easy a target to reel in as Johnny. I kept away from my poor, formerly innocent coworker by ducking under the desk when I heard his squeaky cart come in my direction. The minutes marched on and the work day ended when the clocks struck five.

I took the stairwell and hurried to my car, but I didn't drive off. Not yet. The men in the underground parking passed by with only mild glances in my direction, but none stopped. When the last, weakest animal of the office herd shuffled by me I breathed a sigh of relief and slumped down in my car seat. Now I could focus on my latest problem, the blind date, and all the possibilities that could go wrong there.

Would I entrance him with my succubus abilities, or would I manage to control myself and have a fun evening with a normal guy? Would David make his appearance and change my date from a stranger into a lover? Would he ravish me until I screamed his name? Would I enjoy every minute of it? Hell yes.

I groaned and banged my head on the car steering wheel. There I went losing my concentration and letting my lustful mind run away from me. Maybe running away to join a penal colony in some god-forsaken jungle would be better than a blind date. At least then I'd end up knowing everybody who wanted to date me.

I sighed and shook my head. "Come on, Liz, this isn't like you. Don't let all this bad stuff ruin what's left of your life." I whipped my head up and narrowed my eyes. "That's right! Why the hell am I moping in my car when I've got a date with a handsome rich-guy?"

I turned on the car and roared out of the underground garage onward to home. With determined steps I marched up the stoop steps and fumbled for my keys. For like a minute.

"Nervous?" a voice behind me teased.

I didn't even turn around as Tiffany came up beside me. "I'm trying not to be," I defended myself.

She pulled out her keys and unlocked the door. "Don't sweat it. Whatever happens it can't be any worse than that other guy, right?"

"I can't think of how it could be," I agreed. That is, unless I dated a minotaur or some other legendary creature.

We strode into the lobby and up the stairs. Old man Ackerman lifted his head slightly from his newspaper and cast his eyes at me. We stepped into the elevator and I was glad when the doors shut on his peering eyes. Tiffany leaned toward me and nodded at the closed doors. "You think Ackerman thinks we're going to try to blow up the building or something? He sure did watch us," he mused.

I managed a smile. "Yeah, probably just his paranoia." And my succubus reviving herself.

"Yeah, we'd never blow the place up. It'd be a lot more fun shooting it up," she quipped. We reached our floor, and stepped into the hall and to our rooms. Tiffany followed me to my door. She reached up and pulled a few wild hair strands from my head. "Don't forget to put some makeup on and some hair spray to keep your hair in place. Your hair always goes so wild when it hasn't been brushed," she advised me.

I waved her off and unlocked my door. "I'll make sure to have you inspect me before we go," I promised.

She glanced at her wristwatch. "Better make it fast. We gotta leave in fifteen minutes."

"Yes, Mom," I retorted as I stepped inside.

  Chapter 5

I closed the door behind me and flipped on the lights. Mo sat on the floor two yards in front of me with his yellow eyes staring unblinkingly at me. "Do you always have to be so creepy?" I asked him as I tossed my purse onto the couch.

  "No," was his nonchalant reply.

"Then stop practicing," I returned as I walked past him to my bedroom.

Mo followed and watched me rummage through my dresser. "Going out?" he mused.

I snorted. "You should know, oh spirit of the city," I quipped. I pulled out a black dress and a red dress, both without frills and with low neck lines. I stepped into the middle of the room and held them out on either side of me. "Well, which one?" I asked the cat.

His tail twitched and his eyes moved like a ticking clock left and right. He stopped on the red one. "The red matches your brown hair," he commented.

"Huh, a cat with style. You never cease to amaze me," I told him as I tossed the black dress onto the top of the dresser. The red one was deposited more carefully onto the bed. I paused and looked over my should
er at the feline. "Out."

He stiffened and his tail twitched. "I've seen everything," he reminded me.

I cracked a finger at the door. "I don't care, I'm not having a guy cat watch me, so out."

Mo stood, turned and flipped his tail at me as he left. I followed him and shut the door so it bopped him on the butt. Apparently his going-through-walls trick didn't help him if he wasn't prepared for the contact. "Ffft!" he complained, and I laughed as I dressed for the dinner.

For a few fleeting minutes I forgot about my succubus self and fitted into my dress for a normal blind date with a normal human guy. One look in the mirror on my wall reminded me of one of the few benefits of the curse, the larger breasts. They hugged the front of the dress and filled out the cloth.

I stepped out of the room and found Mo stretched across the top of the couch with his injured rear facing me. I stood in front of him and stretched my arms out on either side of me. "You think this'll attract guys to me?" I asked him.

His tail twitched and he turned his face away from me. "What should that matter to me?" he growled.

I dropped my arms and sighed. "Come on, Mo, I need a supernatural opinion here." He refused to look at me, but a wicked idea came to my mind. I stepped up to him and scratched him under his chin. A soft rumble roared to life inside him and he leaned into my touch. "Come on, pussy cat. Answer the question," I cooed.

"If the. . .if the dress doesn't catch their attention your. . .your scent will," he grudgingly told me.

My hand dropped to my side and I frowned. "So that's back, is it?"

Mo gathered himself and sat up. "Did you expect it to disappear?"

I shrugged. "No, but I hoped it would be gone until at least my date was over. I mean, I want this to go okay, and him jumping me for some sexy time in front of everyone in the restaurant isn't exactly my idea of okay."

"Then you should relax," he advised.

I sighed and my eyes brushed over my apartment. They fell on the doll that sat on the coffee table. Bingo. There was my easy ticket to a smooth evening. I snatched it off the table and grinned at its smiling face. "You don't think this'll hurt me too much for one evening, do you?" I asked Mo as I looked over to him.
